The Threshold Complex, is an anomalous architectural environment consisting of interconnected maintenance corridors, office spaces, storage rooms, and unfinished service tunnels extending beyond measurable dimensions.
Investigators consistently report recognizing rooms they have never previously entered.
Despite extensive mapping efforts, no individual has documented an exterior boundary.
Several survey teams have independently remarked that the environment appears "constructed from memory rather than design."
FIELD NOTES
PHENEOMENON A: PERSISTENT HUM
A continuous low-frequency electrical hum has been documented throughout nearly every surveyed sector.
No functioning generators or power distribution equipment capable of producing the sound have been identified.
The frequency remains constant regardless of location.
PHENEOMENON C: ARCHITECTURAL EXPANSION
Previously explored hallways frequently terminate in newly formed rooms during subsequent investigations.
Floor plans become unreliable after extended exposure.
PHENEOMENON B: IMPOSSIBLE WAYFINDING
Directional signage frequently references departments and corridors that investigators later discover.
Conversely, signs directing personnel toward known exits routinely disappear between surveys.

EVIDENCE LOG 002: INCIDENT LOGBOOK
Recovered beneath a reception desk.
Most pages contain routine maintenance documentation.
One page consists entirely of the same sentence repeated twenty-one times:
"Do not continue following yourself."
No additional context accompanies the entry.
EVIDENCE LOG 003: MICROCASSETTE RECORDER/"anemoia."
Recovered from a conference room with no documented entrance.
Labelled "anemoia." The recording contains a song that plays in specific areas of the complex. Though this tape was discovered, no speaker system to play the tape from was found.

The Threshold Complex remains one of the least understood environments catalogued by the PRS Archive Division.
Environmental monitoring indicates the structure does not behave as a conventional building.
Instead, investigators increasingly describe the sensation that previously explored areas are being reconstructed after observation.
Several researchers have independently proposed that the Complex does not expand.
Rather,
it remembers differently each time it is entered.
Despite repeated mapping efforts utilizing lidar scanning, inertial navigation systems, and physical survey markers, investigators have been unable to establish a complete structural model of the environment though, a rudimentary map was created during a field expedition. This map was later proven inaccurate.
Recovered documentation frequently references departments, employees, and operational procedures with no historical connection to the PRS or any known organization. Whether these materials originate from another time, another location, or represent internally generated artifacts remains undetermined.
Unlike other active cases, the primary hazard associated with Threshold Complex appears to be progressive spatial disorientation rather than direct physical effects.
No comprehensive explanation currently accounts for the observed architectural behavior.
Continued exploration is authorized only for Archive Clearance Level IV personnel.
